Made tag using Grunge board and a 7Gypsies tag...attached to book with Tim's Swivel fastener & chain.
Have really enjoyed making this and can't wait for her birthday on the 26th to hand it over..I know she'll love it :)

The book is finished.....

....and my craft room is tidy!!!!! It's such a relief to be able to find things again...like a space to actually work in!! I am going to post some piccies of my book, but first just wanted to share this beautiful photo of our cat Charlie that I have found lurking in the computer. Bethany has taken it at some time, but because we are out of the habit of getting photos made into actual paper copies I rarely get to see the shots she has taken. I think this is gorgeous! It's such a hard life, isn't it???

What a nice day..

Just a quick one tonight...I have to go and pick Bethany up from Picadilly. Had a lovely day making this concertina box with cards with Maria, my Stampin' Up demonstrator. They were so simple, but really effective...I feel Christmas presents coming on!!

Here are 3 pages from my book...am using 7 Gypsies papers which are lending themselves very well to the project! Generally thoroughly enjoying myself...never done anything like this before, but am using lots of things learned from a variety of people....thanks, Dyan!! xx

What a mess......!!!!!

Am busy making a book at the moment...my daughter is 18 at the end of next month and I wanted to do something special for her. I am really enjoying it now I've got going, but I do seem to make the most horrendous mess in my workspace!! I looked at my desk yesterday afternoon and had to wonder how on earth anything even halfway presentable came off it!!! So...I thought I would share my 'glorious mess!! I've also put some of the more organised parts in so you can see I'm not all bad!! Will share some of my pages tomorrow x

I really ought to start using this blog......

Well, having had the most wonderful weekend at ArtsyCrafts with Leandra and Lin....and realising just how many fellow crafters use a blog regularly, I have decided the time has come to start using mine!! I have decided if the kids can use computers so effortlessly, it can't be that difficult to upload/download stuff...so, here goes!! I have had a rummage around in my craft room to find some items I would like to share and have also found this photo lurking on my camera. I was asked by a friend to make an 18th birthday card in the summer...I have since made 3 more of these..2 pink and one blue, and also used the same idea to make a 40th card for a friend of mine! It is really simple, but looks so effective, and has always been well received. Hope you like it too!
